VG Republic Writes: Bethesda is at it again, the company that is turning into the publishing gurus unveiled one of the most underappreciated titles from this current generation, a new Wolfenstein. The title, The New Order, was shown off on YouTube and Gamespot via a teaser trailer that can be seen below and it was also revealed that the title will be a cross generation title. The last Wolfenstein was a solid game releasing in 2009, but the issue is it released amongst one of the most muddled genres, the First Person Shooter, which seemingly doomed it from the start. Not only that, it was previously published by the same company that produces Call of Duty, Activision, and if that isnt enough it hit the market the same year as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 which was one of the most influential titles of this entire era. So with a new developer teamed up with one of the best publishers on the planet, which is exactly what Wolfenstein needs.

Sledgehammer stepped into the high profile world of Call of Duty when it was drafted in to assist Infinity Ward on Modern Warfare 3, following the studio's employee exodus in early 2010.
Does this mean Sledgehammer is working on something new or yet another Call of Duty title? Last year it was reported that Sledgehammer had indeed returned to the Call of Duty franchise, with a job advertisement for a Senior FX...
Push Square: "Love it or loathe it, Call of Duty is an important cog in any consoles catalogue. The series may have peaked in popularity with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, but last years Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 still managed to rake in a cool $1 billion in just 15 days on the market an impressive sum for a series thats supposedly on the dip. As such, regardless of whether it manages to break the records of its predecessors, the just-announced Call of Duty: Ghosts is almost certain to be one of the biggest games of the year. So, its problematic for Sony that Microsoft appears to have dibs on the title for the time being."
Activision has sent over the first details and trailer for Call of Duty: Ghosts. Ghosts, contrary to popular belief, isn't a continuation of the Modern Warfare series. Instead, it introduces a brand-new setting and story.
